Destination   Shimla - Manali - Dharamshala  

 Day 1: Delhi to Shimla  
Leave Delhi for Shimla. Escort to hotel for rest in Shimla. Hang around the Mall and Ridge in the evening. Overnight stay in hotel.

 Day 2: Shimla - Sarahan ( 2165m ); 176km; 5 - 6 hrs  
After breakfast we leave Shimla for Sarahan which is known as gateway to Kinnaur. En route visit Narkanda a famous tourist place known for its beautiful ski slopes. The temple of Bhimakali in Sarahan is one of the unique examples of architecture. From Sarahan you can see the beautiful peaks of Srikhand. After the day's excursion, overnight stay at a hotel

 Day 3: Sarahan - Sangla ( 2680m ); 92km; 3 - 4 hrs  
Leave Sarahan for Sangla. Sangla is also known as Baspa Valley. Sangla valley is known as the valley of flowers and is famous for its saffron fields. We will take you for some walks around Sangla. After the day's excursions, dinner and overnight at Kinnaur camps - similar in Sangla.

 Day 4: Sangla - Chitkul ( 3450m ) -Kalpa ( 2960m ); 90km  
After breakfast drive to Chitkul village. You will really enjoy this spectacular and serious drive along the thick forest. In the evening back to Sangla and Leave for Recong Peo, which is the Kinnaur’s district headquarters. After today’s excursions will be a visit to the picturesque Kalpa and thickly wooded Lippa. Sleep well till next day.

 Day 5: Kalpa - Nako Lake ( 2950m ) - Tabo ( 3050m ); 210km; 8 - 9 hrs  
Leave Kalpa for Nako. Main attraction of the day’s safari will be a visit to village Ribba known for its local brews, village of mooring, monastic village of Kanam and Nako. From Nako, the Spiti valley is 20km and is called “World within world” and “Place of God”. Both these names point towards its unique beauty and solitude - enjoy it and just save it within you. A flashback of these memories will fill you with new energy and calmness throughout your life .leave Nako for Tabo monastery known as “Ajanta of Himalayas”. This is a beautiful 1008-year old monastery and its mud walls are painted with the life of Lord Buddha. It was here that His Holiness the Dalai Lama performed Kalachakra in 1996. Dinner and overnight stay.

 Day 6: Tabo ( 3050m ) - Kaza ( 3600m ); 45km; 2 hrs  
After breakfast leave for Kaza. En route we visit the Dhankar Monastery, which is the masterpiece of local architecture. Leave for kaza. Check in at the hotel in Kaza for overnight stay.

 Day 7: In and around Kaza ( 3600m )  
After freshening up, we take you to Kye Monastery that is 12km from Kaza, it is a large and most attractive monastery. Then we take you to Kibber ( 4250m ) - the 2nd highest permanently inhabited village of the world which is connected by a motorable road. After the day’s excursion we return to Kaza for overnight stay

 Day 8: Kaza - Kunzum pass ( 4551m ) - Keylong ( 3350m; 210km; 10 - 12 hrs)  
Leave very early for Keylong via Kunzum pass. Reach the summit of the Rohtang Pass @ 3919 Mtrs ASL and halt for a while.Start the journey again towards Keylong, arriving there in 3-4 hours.Check into a hotel for an overnight stay and another night of acclimatization.

 Day 9: Keylong to Sarchu over the Bara Lacha La @ 5030 Mtrs ASL (90 Km)  
A short but exciting day as we scale the Bara Lacha La @ 5030 Mtrs ASL.This high altitude mountain pass also has a glacial lake next to it.We stop for a while here to indulge the shutterbug in us and drive further on to a tent settlement called Bharatpur, at the base of the pass.We halt here for some time and then drive further to Sarchu, the tented city and the destination of the day for an overnight halt in tents
Dinner would be simple food served in a dining tent.

 Day 10: Sarchu to Leh over the Nakeela (4739 Mtrs ASL), Lachulung La (5535 Mtrs ASL) and Tanglang La (5360 Mtrs ASL) (225 Km)  
Another day of epic proportions as we scale three high altitude mountain passes as we drive to Leh.The route will see us scale the Gata Loops, a set of 21 hairpin bends which wind upwards, followed by the Twin mountain passes of Nakeela and Lachulung La, finally arriving in the tented settlement of Pang, where we will halt for a while for tea and a bite to eat.

We drive on further after a brief halt to the Morey Plains, a 45 km flat stretch of land, extending to the base of the mountain pass known as the Tanglang La @ 5035 Mtrs.Once we have traversed about 30 km from the Monastery Tour of Mcleodganj, Dharamshala, Mcleodganj Monestry, Tashijong Monestry, Shobha Singh art gallerysummit, the road condition will change from bad to excellent, urging the drive to open the throttle.

As soon as we hit Upshi, we halt again for a bite to eat and sip some Chai, post which we will make a beeline for Leh, arriving in a shade under 2 hours, we check into a hotel for some well deserved rest, relaxation and a real Hot Shower!

 Day 11: Leh Rest & Relaxation  
Again, you take it easy and play tourists and acclimatize further.Visit the Leh Palace and also look around for curios and souvenirs in the local market, which will be noisy and bustling with people.

Or option to visit Shey, Thiskey , Hemis and Stok is also available

The evening will be free to hang around in leh market, followed by Dinner.Option will be open to eat in or out in the market.

 Day 12: Leh to Nubra Valley over the Khardung La (539 Mtrs ASL) (125 Km)  
This is the day when you driving to the top of the world, on the world highest motor-able road, Khardung La!

After a brief halt at the summit, we start further into the picturesque Nubra Valley below.Although the distance may be less, we will have to be cautious of the time, as the road conditions vary as the sun goes up or down.

Arrive in Deskit before sundown, check into the campsite for an overnight halt.

Dinner would be an in-house affair.

 Day 13: Nubra to Leh over the Khardung La (140 Km)  
Today, we backtrack to Leh over the Khardung La pass, with a small detour to Hundar to catch a glimpse of the sand dunes in the usually snow-clad mountains.

Arrive in Leh by evening and check into the hotel.

Dinner would be an in-house affair.

 Day 14: Leh to Pangong Tso over the Chang La (5360 Mtrs ASL) (160 Km)  
Another day of epic proportions as we make way for Pangong Tso, a natural fresh water lake, 1/3 of which lies in India and the rest in China, over the mighty Chang La @ 5360 Mtrs ASL.The ascent will be steeper than any Monastery Tour of Mcleodganj, Dharamshala, Mcleodganj Monestry, Tashijong Monestry, Shobha Singh art galleryof the mountain passes we have climbed over. Once we reach the summit, we halt for a while and then make a beeline for the town of Spangmik, arriving there before sundown and check into the campsite for an overnight halt.

Dinner, as usual, will be an in-house affair.

 Day 15: Pangong Tso to leh (160 Km)  
We backtrack again, over the Chang La, all the way to Leh.

 Day 16: Leh to Delhi  
Drop at Leh airport in the morning to catch your flight for onwards journey to Delhi with sweet memories of the tour..
